Who it’s for

When one-by-one invoicing is not enough

Wholesalers & distributors

Clear large order books without living in a single invoice screen all day.

Manufacturers

Keep dispatch and billing moving while staying aligned with FBR.

CA & tax firms

Serve multiple clients with repeatable high-volume workflows.

Readiness check

Is your team ready for bulk invoicing?

An honest self-check — bulk helps when volume and rework are real problems, not just nice-to-haves.

Ready for bulk

  • 50+ invoices per day (or equivalent monthly volume)
  • Repetitive data entry eating staff hours
  • Invoice data already structured in spreadsheets or ERP
  • Failed submissions creating daily rework loops
  • CA firm managing multiple client ledgers

Start with software first

  • Under 20 invoices per day with simple line items
  • Team still learning FBR digital invoicing basics
  • No standardized customer or product master data
  • Compliance scope not yet confirmed with tax advisor

How a bulk run works

From an Excel file to FBR — without the grind

The same run whether you upload in the product or send a job through the API.

Fill in the Excel template

Download the invoice template and fill one row per invoice line — buyer NTN or CNIC, items, quantities, and tax treatment. Your team works in a spreadsheet, not a form.

Upload and let it validate

Every row is checked before anything reaches FBR. You see exactly which rows would fail and why, so problems surface at your desk instead of as rejections later. Across the platform, 98% of submitted invoices pass FBR validation.

Fix and submit

Each invoice is submitted to FBR individually, as FBR requires — the bulk part is the preparation, not the transmission. A failed row does not block the rest of the run: correct it and retry just that invoice, without re-uploading the whole file. Long runs can be paused and resumed.

Keep the proof

Each posted invoice comes back with its official FBR invoice number and QR details, and you can export a status report for the whole job for finance and audit.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about bulk FBR invoicing.

What is bulk FBR digital invoicing?

It means submitting many sales tax invoices to FBR in one workflow — instead of creating each invoice one by one. eInvoicePro supports high-volume processing in the product and through the API.

Does FBR accept invoices uploaded in bulk?

No — FBR requires each invoice to be transmitted individually as it is generated, and its guidance states that bulk upload is not permitted. Bulk invoicing here means preparing and managing many invoices at once: you work in one file, and the system submits each invoice to FBR separately and tracks each one on its own.

What file format does the bulk upload use?

An Excel spreadsheet. You download the invoice template, fill one row per invoice line, and upload it — no special software or developer work needed. Teams already keeping invoices in Excel can usually move across with very little change.

What happens if some invoices in the file fail?

Every row is validated before anything is sent to FBR, so you see which rows would fail and why. A failed row does not stop the rest of the batch: the clean invoices go through, and you can correct and retry only the failed ones without re-uploading the whole file.

Is there a limit on how many invoices I can submit?

Bulk submission runs against the quota on your plan, under a fair usage policy. Most high-volume businesses sit comfortably within it — tell us your monthly invoice count on a demo and we will confirm the right quota for you.

Who needs bulk digital invoicing?

Wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, retail chains, and CA firms managing multiple clients — anyone with high daily or monthly invoice counts.

Can bulk work through the API?

Yes. ERP and custom systems can submit invoice jobs in volume through the eInvoicePro API, not only through the web screens.

How do I know if my business is ready for bulk?

If your team spends hours on repetitive invoice entry, or if failed submissions create daily rework, bulk workflows are worth evaluating. Book a demo and we will map your volume to the right path.

Does bulk change my FBR compliance obligations?

Bulk is a workflow — your compliance scope still depends on your registration and FBR notices. Confirm obligations with your tax advisor; eInvoicePro handles the submission mechanics at scale.
